Main St. Counseling Center offers services to children, adolescents, adults and seniors. We have a variety of therapeutic modalities; when you call to make and appointment, we can discuss which type of service is best for your needs.

Couples in all types of relationships can work together with a couples' therapist to improve communication, trust and intimacy by addressing issues and establishing common goals.
Families can work through their issues and develop more effective interaction, communication and understanding in an atmosphere of support. We focus on relationships, which are the building blocks to strong family health.
Counseling is very helpful for seniors who are faced with situations such as coping with loss and grief, life style changes, health and other age-related issues, as well as depression and anxiety.
Counseling for Veterans and their families
Transitioning to civilian life can present special challenges. Veterans and their families receive assistance with issues such as dealing with post-traumatic stress disorder, re-connecting with family members, and re-adjusting to day-to-day life at home.
Outreach in Schools
Main St. Counseling partners with many Essex County schools to provide counseling services on site to their students. This arrangement allows many children and teens to receive services that would not otherwise be available to them.
Anger management &
Groups can provide valuable insight and assistance through working with others to address common concerns. We offer both Spanish and English groups. Topics include parenting, anger management and domestic disputes.
