Main St. Counseling Center was founded in 1980 with the important mission of making effective counseling services more accessible to those who need it most. It has since grown into an award-winning nonprofit and a crucial community resource that assists hundreds of individuals and families each week.

We strive to remove all barriers to care, so that everyone can receive quality mental health services. We accept most insurances, including Medicaid and Medicare, own a handicap-accessible and senior-friendly building, and we have a talented staff of bilingual and culturally-sensitive therapists. With no catchment area, anyone who’s interested in therapy can come and enjoy our soothing and supportive counseling center.

Our services include Individual, Couples, Family, and Group counseling, all provided in a caring and private environment. We also offer innovative outreach programs that serve our community’s most vulnerable residents. Our dedicated and experienced therapists help people of all ages and backgrounds address issues that are impacting their lives, jobs, and relationships.
