The Center
Sometimes the first step in getting help is the most difficult one to take.
Main St. Counseling Center's staff understands that and will help you
through every step of the process.
When you call Main St., we will answer any questions you may have
about the Center or the counseling process. If you wish, we will
complete an intake on the phone, let you know what the fee for service
will be and set up an appointment.
When you arrive for your session, you may help yourself to coffee or
tea and leaf through a magazine in our waiting room. You and your
therapist will meet in a safe, quiet and private office. There, you can
feel free to explore issues that you believe are hampering your
happiness or effectiveness in work, relationships or life in general. You
have your therapist's undivided attention for the duration of the session.
We consider confidentiality and trust to be of paramount importance.
